The basis of Christianity is love. Christ died for us because He LOVES us. We are just like Jesus, identical to Him. This means that we are called/created to LOVE.

The issues we have in life exist as a result of a lack of love. The absence of love for oneself, the next person, society, community, country….

The problems that exist today can be solved if only people really and truly LOVE.

“Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance.”

Imagine a situation where we all truly LOVE. Where each person only seeks out good for the next, where my gain is your gain, where forgiveness comes easy, where envy is unimportant, where patience is a given, where kindness comes naturally. Where we all look out for each other, where so-called issues are non-issues, where LOVE has totally consumed us. Can you imagine what our environment would be like? The streets will be clean, everyone will queue, systems will work, theft would be nonexistent, the poor will be taken care of, everyone will seek the best for each other and the society……

This might seem so far fetched, almost like a dream. A lot of things can be fixed, lots of relationships can work, systems can be functional if only we really and truly LOVE.

The only way to truly love your neighbour and society is by loving yourself as you cannot give what you do not have. If you truly love yourself, you can love the next person.

Do you know that extent to which we love is the extent to which we will see results? Look at our society, can we say love actually exists? Let’s change that, it starts with you. Stop littering, driving on the wrong side of the road…..
