We have a family tradition of going to my grandmothers’ on Good Friday. We all gather to celebrate what Christ did for us so many years ago. We give thanks for He paid the ultimate sacrifice.
“Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!” – 2 Corinthians 9:15 ESV
Each year, we are able to look back and be nothing but grateful. For life, for health, for family, for so much.
As we gathered this year, I looked around at everyone and I was thankful, I was grateful. Thankful for the gift of family, thankful for the gift of life. Grateful to be able to gather, eat, drink, talk, laugh, create memories.
I am grateful for everyone who lets me be me. My amazing support system who help make it a little easier, who help share the load. Life would be so much harder without my everyone in my support system, everyone that enables me be a working mother. Grateful for everyone who reads my blog post, those who have tried out my recipes, grateful beyond measure.
This season, I encourage you to also be grateful to God and your support system. From parents to spouses, to siblings, to friends to cousins, nannies, drivers, every single person. Show some love today, show some gratitude.
