Speaking nicely to people

Speaking nicely to people is easy but then it doesn’t come easy to everyone

I have observed that how people speak to others is based on how they were raised*

It’s important to me and I am working on this with my children, as it’s best when they get it  while they are young

If they don’t get it now, it will be difficult to learn as adults

For the most part, my children speak kindly to others

They are however influenced by those around them, especially adults and they can be unkind with their words

I cringe when they don’t speak nicely and I make sure to correct them

This is work in progress and it’s important to carry other adults along.

“Unfortunately, the clock is ticking, the hours are going by. The past increases, the future recedes. Possibilities decreasing, regrets mounting.”

How are you making sure you raise children who are polite with their words and actions?

This is something to be intentional about.

A kind person does not blossom by chance.

Kindness has to be planted, it has to be nurtured.

Be kind, express kindness so that they can mirror your words and actions.

“Unfortunately, the clock is ticking, the hours are going by. The past increases, the future recedes. Possibilities decreasing, regrets mounting.”

*Upbringing is influenced by our parents, faith, family, education, travel, exposure, what we read, and social media.
